Benefit for the Fisher House

On July 19th., the Old Dogs had a fun raiser for the Fisher House Foundation. Just in case you don’t know what the Fisher House is, they provide housing for the families of the wounded vets. A place for them to stay while visiting with no cost to them. They also help provide free flying for them. But, also it was a good party. I only had 10 days to put it together & I brought in vendors which were good enough to come in on short notice.

The bar had $1.00 beers & homemade food. So a good time was had by all. I myself won a couple events even though I was up against the young pups. We even entered the hot dog contest. My wife was a head shorter & 40yrs older then most of the young ladies but, she held her own.

Now on Aug. 23/24 we're going to do it again, this time bigger & better. We're even going to set up a drive-in where we'll be showing the old biker movies from the 60's & 70's. I even found a copy of Fritz the Cat & if I've got to tell you who Fritz the Cat is ..... you weren’t there. So if you’re in the Pocono Mts. join us, it’s a 2 day party & all profits go to a good cause. Take care and hope to see you all there.
